“(exclusivity percentage claim without visible screening methodology)”
Claiming a low acceptance rate is the oldest trick in premium positioning. Without showing what the screening actually tests (algorithm challenges, portfolio review, live pair-programming, client trial periods), the claim is unfalsifiable and reads as marketing to any buyer who has been disappointed by a "top talent" platform before.
“Show the funnel: "Language and personality screen, timed technical assessment, live project evaluation, ongoing client-satisfaction review. The process takes 2-4 weeks — most applicants don't finish."”
Process transparency converts an abstract percentage into a concrete quality guarantee. Buyers don't trust "top 3%" but they trust "4-stage screening that most people quit." The mechanism is more persuasive than the statistic.
