The hero makes a promise, not a category statement
High-converting pages open with a specific outcome: "Cut your invoicing time from 3 hours to 20 minutes" versus "The modern invoicing platform." The first gives a reason to keep reading; the second could belong to any competitor. When we see a page convert well, the headline almost always passes the swap test — would it still work if you replaced the logo with a competitor's? If yes, it is too generic.
