Puntuación

A European B2B wholesale platform for independent retailers that competes on brand curation and low minimums. The homepage communicates the marketplace category but fails to name a single reason to choose Orderchamp over Ankorstore or Faire — leaving the visitor to comparison-shop elsewhere.

Problema de mayor impacto

Orderchamp competes directly with Ankorstore and Faire for the same retailer audience. The homepage gives no positioning against either competitor: no unique payment terms, no exclusive brand claim, no geographic advantage. Without a named differentiator, the visitor defaults to the platform they already know or the one with the largest catalog.

Antes
(generic wholesale marketplace hero — "curated brands for independent retailers" without competitive differentiation)
Problema

The hero uses category-level language ("wholesale for independent retailers") that is identical to Ankorstore, Faire, and Tundra. In a market with four credible platforms, generic positioning means the visitor has no reason to evaluate Orderchamp first or at all.

Reescritura
Name the wedge: identify the specific advantage (e.g. lowest MOQs in the market, best Benelux brand selection, fastest shipping to EU retailers) and make it the headline. If no wedge exists, the positioning problem is a product problem, not a copy problem.
Por qué funciona

In a four-player market, the platform that names its specific advantage wins the evaluation. The one that describes the category loses to whichever competitor the retailer heard about first.

Hallazgo #02evidenciaAlto impacto
Antes
(platform metrics displayed without competitive context or retailer testimonials)
Problema

Showing brand count and retailer count without competitive framing or retailer success stories gives the visitor data without meaning. "3,000 brands" means nothing if the visitor does not know whether that is more or fewer than the alternatives.

Reescritura
Add retailer case studies with measurable outcomes: "De Bijenkorf found 40 new brands in their first month on Orderchamp. Average retailer reorder rate: 78%." Pair metrics with stories.
Por qué funciona

Specific retailer outcomes answer the question platform metrics cannot: "will this work for me?" A reorder rate signals retention proof, which is more convincing than acquisition volume.

Hallazgo #03CTAMedio
Antes
(dual CTAs for retailers and brands with equal visual weight on the homepage)
Problema

Serving both retailers and brands from the same hero splits the page's conversion job. The retailer sees a brand-signup CTA that is irrelevant; the brand sees a retailer-browsing CTA that distracts. Neither audience feels the page is for them.

Reescritura
Default the homepage to the retailer audience (the higher-volume ICP). Move the brand-supply CTA to a secondary text link or a distinct /for-brands landing page.
Por qué funciona

A marketplace grows by serving its demand side first. Retailers bring order volume that attracts brands. Optimizing the homepage for retailer conversion and separating the brand pitch preserves focus and improves both funnels.
