51/100
Score

The creative suite incumbent with unmatched product depth, but the homepage is a feature tour across 20+ apps. A cold visitor cannot determine which product they need, what it costs individually, or whether a free option exists — without navigating three levels deep.

See methodology →
Highest-impact issue

Adobe's homepage tries to sell Creative Cloud, Document Cloud, Experience Cloud, Firefly, Express, and individual apps all at once. The result is a product catalog, not a landing page. A photographer who needs Lightroom, a marketer who needs Express, and an enterprise buyer who needs Experience Cloud all see the same hero — and none feel it was written for them.

Real founders, real fixes
Useful feedback overall. We changed a few sections and bounce rate improved slightly. Not earth-shattering but worth the price for the structured perspective.

What this page does well

3 strengths
Individual product pages (Photoshop, Illustrator) are strong once a visitor reaches them — clear feature demos and pricing.
Adobe Firefly AI integration is genuinely differentiated by being trained on licensed content — a real trust advantage.
Student and educator pricing is prominently surfaced — captures the next-generation user base.

Findings (3)

Was → problem → fix → why

Each finding cites the live copy at audit time, names the conversion problem, proposes a specific rewrite, and explains why the rewrite works against the 12-dimension framework.

Finding #01clarityCritical
Was
(mega-portfolio hero — product carousel showcasing 20+ apps without visitor intent-routing)
Problem

A homepage that shows Photoshop, Premiere, Acrobat, Firefly, and Experience Cloud in the same viewport forces every visitor to self-navigate a product catalog. The 5-second test fails for any persona except someone who already knows exactly which Adobe product they want.

Fix
Intent-route from the hero: "What do you create?" with clear paths — Photo & Design / Video & Motion / Documents / Marketing. Each path leads to a focused product page within one click.
Why this works

Intent-routing replaces catalog browsing with self-segmentation. Each click narrows the experience to the visitor's actual need, reducing bounce from the overwhelming breadth.

Finding #02offer specificityHigh-impact
Was
(subscription pricing not visible until deep in the purchase flow, bundled vs. individual unclear)
Problem

Adobe's most common buying objection is "how much does this actually cost?" The homepage doesn't show whether Photoshop is $10/mo or $55/mo, whether a bundle saves money, or whether a free tier exists for Express. Hiding pricing feeds the "Adobe is expensive" narrative that drives evaluators to Canva and Figma.

Fix
Surface key price anchors: "Photoshop from $22/mo. Full Creative Cloud from $55/mo. Adobe Express — free forever."
Why this works

Visible pricing preempts the cost objection and reveals that individual apps are more affordable than the "expensive Adobe" perception suggests. The free Express tier is a competitive weapon against Canva — but only if visitors see it.

Finding #03social proofMedium
Was
(brand heritage implied but no current-scale metrics surfaced on the homepage)
Problem

Adobe is a household name, but the homepage doesn't leverage current adoption metrics. "Industry standard" is assumed, not proven. A competitor like Canva says "150M+ users" — Adobe says nothing quantitative, letting the challenger own the scale narrative.

Fix
Add a proof line: "300M+ Creative Cloud accounts. The tools behind every Oscar-winning film, every Billboard cover, every Fortune 500 brand."
Why this works

Even dominant brands benefit from restating scale. The specific contexts (Oscar, Billboard, Fortune 500) connect the abstract number to prestige outcomes that justify the premium price.
