Aha!

Independent productivity landing-page teardown using our public 12-dimension framework. Apply the findings to your own page in under 30 minutes.

48/100
Score

Feature-rich product management suite with strong enterprise credentials, but the landing page reads like a product catalog rather than a conversion page. Too many products, too many CTAs, no single clear path.

See methodology →
Highest-impact issue

Aha! sells 5+ products (Roadmaps, Ideas, Whiteboards, Knowledge, Develop) from one homepage. The visitor is asked to understand the portfolio before they can evaluate any single tool. Decision paralysis replaces conversion.

Real founders, real fixes
We followed the Landing Doctors recommendations before relaunching ads and the difference was obvious. Better messaging, stronger CTA placement, and less visual clutter made the page convert much more effectively.

We improved a few headlines and reorganized sections. The page feels more focused now and visitors actually read past the hero section.

What this page does well

3 strengths
Deep product management expertise is evident -- the content quality signals authority.
Enterprise customer count (700,000+ users at 5,000+ companies) is genuinely impressive.
Roadmap screenshot is one of the clearest product visualizations in the category.

Findings (3)

Was → problem → fix → why

Each finding cites the live copy at audit time, names the conversion problem, proposes a specific rewrite, and explains why the rewrite works against the 12-dimension framework.

Finding #01clarityCritical
Was
(unknown current hero -- generic PM-tool pattern)
Problem

When a homepage tries to sell five products simultaneously, it sells none. The visitor who searched "product roadmap tool" lands on a page that also pitches whiteboards, idea portals, knowledge bases, and dev planning. The cognitive load is too high for a 5-second evaluation.

Fix
Aha! Roadmaps -- Turn your product strategy into a visual plan your executives actually read. [Try free →]
Why this works

Leads with the flagship product (Roadmaps), names the audience (executives), names the outcome (a plan they read), and defers the portfolio to a "See all products" secondary link.

Finding #02CTAHigh-impact
Was
(multiple competing CTAs for different products in the hero zone)
Problem

Five product CTAs in one viewport creates a choose-your-own-adventure page. Conversion rate drops linearly with the number of equal-weight choices. The page needs a single primary path.

Fix
Single hero CTA: "Start with Roadmaps -- free for 30 days." Below the fold: "Or explore Ideas, Whiteboards, Knowledge, Develop →"
Why this works

Routes 80% of visitors to the flagship product. The remaining 20% who want a specific sub-product find it one scroll down. One decision instead of five.

Finding #03page speedMedium
Was
(heavy interactive product demos load in the hero viewport)
Problem

Interactive demos in the hero compete with LCP. On mobile or slower connections, the visitor sees a loading spinner where the product screenshot should be. First impression becomes a wait.

Fix
Replace hero interactive demo with a static screenshot + "See it live →" link. Load the interactive version on click or on scroll.
Why this works

Static images load in <100ms. The interactive demo impresses visitors who are already engaged -- but the hero's job is to convert in 5 seconds, not to demo.
