84/100
Score

One of the sharpest developer tool landing pages in the ecosystem. Speed benchmarks in the hero are concrete and differentiating; minor trust gaps prevent a higher score.

Highest-impact issue

Bun's speed claims are strong but would convert better with third-party validation. Self-reported benchmarks trigger skepticism in experienced developers who have seen every tool claim to be "the fastest."

Real founders, real fixes
Landing Doctors nos ayudó a entender por qué la página se veía bonita pero no convertía bien. Cambiamos la estructura, el mensaje principal y varios bloques importantes. Todo se siente mucho más claro y profesional ahora.

We thought our landing page already looked modern, but Landing Doctors showed us why users still didn't trust it. Their recommendations were extremely actionable and focused on conversions, not just design. The CTA restructuring alone…

What this page does well

5 strengths
Performance benchmarks with specific numbers directly in the hero — concrete, not adjective-based.
Single-product focus: the page sells one thing (a fast JS runtime+toolkit) without distraction.
Install command visible immediately — one curl pipe reduces time-to-trial to seconds.
Comparison tables against Node.js are specific and verifiable.
Clean, fast-loading page that practices what it preaches about performance.

Findings (2)

Was → problem → fix → why

Each finding cites the live copy at audit time, names the conversion problem, proposes a specific rewrite, and explains why the rewrite works against the 12-dimension framework.

Finding #01proofMedium
Was
(self-reported benchmark charts comparing Bun vs Node.js)
Problem

Every developer tool claims speed. Self-reported benchmarks, no matter how accurate, trigger the "vendor benchmark" discount in experienced developers' minds. The charts need external validation to fully convert skeptics.

Fix
Add a line beneath the benchmarks: "Independently verified. See benchmarks from [ThePrimeagen / TechEmpower / independent source]."
Why this works

Third-party attribution transforms a marketing claim into evidence. The visitor who was going to Google "are Bun benchmarks real" now has the answer on-page.

Finding #02trustMedium
Was
(limited visible enterprise adoption signals)
Problem

Bun's adoption is growing rapidly but the page doesn't surface who is using it in production. For team leads evaluating whether to adopt Bun for a production codebase, "fast" isn't enough — they need "fast and other serious teams trust it."

Fix
Add a section: "In production at [logos]" or "Used by 50,000+ projects on GitHub — including [2–3 recognizable names]."
Why this works

Adoption proof converts the "cool but risky" objection. GitHub star count or production logos give the team lead ammunition for the internal approval conversation.

No. We have no affiliation with Bun and were not paid by anyone. This is independent third-party commentary based on the public landing page at audit time.
Did you contact Bun before publishing?
No. These teardowns analyze public marketing pages — the same way any reviewer would analyze a published book. We use only what is publicly accessible on the live URL.
Will my own audit look like this?
Yes — same 12-dimension framework, same finding format (was → problem → fix → why). Your report is private to you and based on your live page copy.
