Score

South Korea's dominant marketplace with world-class logistics (Rocket Delivery), but the landing page undersells the delivery speed that defines the brand and defaults to a product grid that could belong to any e-commerce site.

Highest-impact issue

Coupang's Rocket Delivery — order by midnight, receive by dawn — is one of the most operationally impressive fulfillment promises in global e-commerce. That overnight-delivery guarantee should dominate the hero. Instead, it appears as a small badge next to eligible products, visible only after the visitor is already browsing.

What this page does well

3 strengths
Rocket Delivery infrastructure is genuinely best-in-class: same-day and dawn delivery in a country smaller than Indiana.
Rocket Fresh (grocery delivery) extends the logistics moat into daily consumables with cold-chain capability.
Coupang Play (streaming) bundled with membership creates an Amazon Prime-style retention flywheel.

Findings (3)

Was → problem → fix → why

Each finding cites the live copy at audit time, names the conversion problem, proposes a specific rewrite, and explains why the rewrite works against the 12-dimension framework.

Finding #01value propHigh-impact
Was
(product-grid hero without prominent delivery-speed messaging)
Problem

The landing page looks like a generic product catalogue. Coupang's defining advantage — dawn delivery on millions of items — is reduced to an inline badge rather than the headline promise. Korean shoppers choosing between Coupang, Naver Shopping, and 11st need the speed differential stated, not implied.

Fix
Hero headline: "Order tonight. Unbox at dawn. Rocket Delivery on 5M+ items — free for members."
Why this works

Naming the delivery speed ("dawn"), the catalogue depth ("5M+ items"), and the access model ("free for members") compresses the three strongest buying arguments into one scannable line that no Korean competitor can match.

Finding #02urgencyHigh-impact
Was
(no real-time order-cutoff countdown or delivery-window indicator on homepage)
Problem

Rocket Delivery has a midnight cutoff for dawn delivery. That natural deadline creates organic urgency — but only if the visitor sees it. Without a visible countdown, the "order now, get it tomorrow morning" promise has no time pressure.

Fix
Add a persistent banner: "Order in the next 3h 42m for dawn delivery tomorrow." Update the countdown in real time.
Why this works

A real-time countdown converts the midnight cutoff into visible urgency that drives same-session purchases. This is not manufactured scarcity — the deadline is real and operational, making it the most honest urgency mechanism available.

Finding #03objectionsMedium
Was
(Rocket WOW membership value not explained on homepage — only on dedicated membership page)
Problem

Coupang's membership (Rocket WOW) bundles free delivery, free returns, Coupang Play streaming, and Rocket Fresh discounts. The value stack is compelling but invisible on the homepage; visitors who don't already know about it evaluate Coupang as a regular marketplace with shipping fees.

Fix
Surface the membership value on the homepage: "Rocket WOW: free dawn delivery + free returns + Coupang Play streaming. From 4,990 KRW/month."
Why this works

Visitors comparing Coupang to competitors need to see the bundled value to understand the price-per-benefit. Hiding the membership behind a separate page means most first-time visitors never discover the retention product that would convert them.
