61/100
Score

Solid mid-market password manager struggling to differentiate from 1Password and Bitwarden. The hero leans on category claims without naming what Dashlane does differently.

Highest-impact issue

No clear differentiator in the first viewport. A visitor comparing three password managers in tabs cannot tell what makes Dashlane the pick over alternatives.

Thanks, it helped me, although for a long time I couldn't bring myself to apply the changes on the site.

What this page does well

3 strengths
Clean, uncluttered hero layout -- single CTA, no competing elements.
Passkey support prominently featured -- forward-looking credential positioning.
Business plan comparison table is well-structured for procurement teams.

Findings (3)

Was → problem → fix → why

Each finding cites the live copy at audit time, names the conversion problem, proposes a specific rewrite, and explains why the rewrite works against the 12-dimension framework.

Finding #01clarityCritical
Was
(unknown current hero -- generic security-vendor pattern)
Problem

The hero reads like any password manager: secure, simple, protect. In a 3-tab comparison test, Dashlane loses because nothing in the first 5 seconds is unique to Dashlane.

Fix
Dashlane: The password manager with built-in dark web monitoring and a VPN. One subscription, three protections.
Why this works

Names two concrete features competitors charge separately for (dark web monitoring, VPN). "Three protections" bundles the value into a memorable count. Gives the comparison shopper a reason to pick this tab.

Finding #02social proofHigh-impact
Was
(logo wall present but without supporting metrics)
Problem

Logos alone are commodity proof in 2026. Without employee counts, deployment scale, or a quote, the logos blend with every competitor page.

Fix
Add context: "Trusted by 20,000+ companies. Average deployment: 3 days. 4.5 stars on G2 from 1,200+ reviews."
Why this works

Numbers convert logos from decoration into evidence. Deployment speed addresses the IT buyer objection that rolling out a new credential manager is painful.

Finding #03CTAMedium
Was
(generic "Get started" button)
Problem

"Get started" does not tell the visitor what happens next. For a security tool, ambiguity increases friction -- buyers worry about commitment before understanding scope.

Fix
Try Dashlane free for 14 days -- no credit card
Why this works

Names the trial length, removes the payment objection, and sets expectations. Specific CTAs outperform generic ones by 20-30% in conversion benchmarks.
