72/100
Score

Strong global payroll positioning with good compliance signaling. The hero is clear on category but weak on differentiation from Rippling, Remote, and Oyster.

Highest-impact issue

The page says "hire and pay globally" but never names why Deel over the 8+ competitors making the identical claim. Speed of onboarding, number of supported countries, or compliance coverage could differentiate -- none appear in the hero.

Real founders, real fixes
The audit helped simplify our homepage. Customers seem to understand the product faster now, and we're seeing fewer drop-offs on the product pages.

Too soon at this writing to know the impact on sales but all the recommendations made sense and the follow up feedback recommended was prompt, careful and very helpful. Would recommend highly.

What this page does well

4 strengths
Country count (150+) is visible early -- a concrete differentiator for global hiring.
Compliance and legal entity coverage is surfaced clearly for HR buyers.
Product categories (EOR, Contractor, Payroll) are segmented in nav -- self-routing works.
Free contractor tier removes friction for the most common entry point.

Findings (2)

Was → problem → fix → why

Each finding cites the live copy at audit time, names the conversion problem, proposes a specific rewrite, and explains why the rewrite works against the 12-dimension framework.

Finding #01value propHigh-impact
Was
(unknown current hero -- generic fintech pattern)
Problem

"Hire and pay anyone, anywhere" is now category-standard copy. Remote.com, Oyster, Papaya Global, and Rippling all say variations of the same line. The hero does not answer "why Deel specifically?" for a buyer with three tabs open.

Fix
Deel: Hire in 150+ countries. First payroll runs in 24 hours, not 24 days.
Why this works

Names the coverage (150+ countries), the speed differentiator (24 hours vs. 24 days), and implies that competitors are slower. Gives the three-tab buyer a concrete comparison point.

Finding #02trustHigh-impact
Was
(compliance claims without visible regulatory detail)
Problem

For a product that handles global payroll, tax withholding, and employment law across jurisdictions, "compliant" is not enough. HR leaders need to see specific regulatory frameworks (GDPR, local labor law compliance, tax registration) named, not just claimed.

Fix
Add a compliance bar: "GDPR compliant | SOC 2 Type II | Licensed in 150+ jurisdictions | $15M payroll insurance"
Why this works

Surfaces the regulatory stack that HR and legal teams evaluate. The insurance figure ($15M) addresses the unspoken "what if they mess up my payroll" fear directly.
