74/100
Score

Strong positioning as the "no-cook" alternative to meal kits. Clean hero, but the dietitian angle — Factor's real differentiator — is buried below the third scroll.

See methodology →
Highest-impact issue

Factor is the only major player with dietitian-designed, fully-prepared meals. That positioning is worth the headline, not the third section.

Real founders, real fixes
The audit was useful overall and gave us a few good ideas for improving clarity on the homepage. Some suggestions felt a bit generic, but the CTA and headline recommendations definitely helped.

Not everything applied to our business, but several recommendations were genuinely helpful. Would have liked more fitness-specific examples.

What this page does well

4 strengths
Hero immediately communicates "ready to eat" — no cooking required is clear in 3 seconds.
Calorie and macro info shown on meal cards without expanding.
Plan flexibility (4, 8, 12, 18 meals/week) visible without entering a flow.
Strong visual contrast between meals and lifestyle photography.

Findings (2)

Was → problem → fix → why

Each finding cites the live copy at audit time, names the conversion problem, proposes a specific rewrite, and explains why the rewrite works against the 12-dimension framework.

Finding #01clarityHigh-impact
Was
(unknown current hero — generic food/meal-kit pattern)
Problem

The hero communicates "prepared meals delivered" but doesn't answer why Factor instead of a local meal-prep service, Freshly, or just Costco ready-meals. The differentiator gap costs visitors who are comparing options.

Fix
Dietitian-designed meals, fully cooked, at your door. 35+ choices every week — heat and eat in 2 minutes.
Why this works

Leads with the credential (dietitian-designed), names the format (fully cooked), and sets an expectation (2 minutes, 35+ choices). Each phrase answers a different comparison-shopper question.

Finding #02trustMedium
Was
(no visible dietitian credentials or certifications in hero section)
Problem

"Dietitian-designed" is a claim. Without a named expert, a credential, or an institutional endorsement, it reads as marketing copy. Health-conscious buyers are particularly skeptical of unsubstantiated nutrition claims.

Fix
Add a proof line: "Every recipe reviewed by our in-house RD team. See their credentials."
Why this works

RD (Registered Dietitian) is a regulated credential. Naming it converts the claim into verifiable proof. A link to the team page lets skeptics self-serve without cluttering the hero.

No. We have no affiliation with Factor and were not paid by anyone. This is independent third-party commentary based on the public landing page at audit time.
Did you contact Factor before publishing?
No. These teardowns analyze public marketing pages — the same way any reviewer would analyze a published book. We use only what is publicly accessible on the live URL.
Will my own audit look like this?
Yes — same 12-dimension framework, same finding format (was → problem → fix → why). Your report is private to you and based on your live page copy.
