Score

Surprisingly clean hero for a lesser-known player. The price-to-value positioning is sharp, the design is uncluttered, and the CTA friction is low. Underrated page in this category.

Highest-impact issue

Moosend's biggest gap is trust, not copy. The hero is well-written, but the page lacks recognizable customer logos or third-party validation that would convert evaluators who've never heard the brand name.

Real founders, real fixes

The feedback was clear and practical. We didn't use every suggestion, but a few small changes improved the overall flow of the landing page and made it feel more organized.

What this page does well

4 strengths
Aggressive pricing ($9/mo starting) is named clearly — strong anchor against Mailchimp's $20+ tier.
Single, focused CTA with no competing buttons in the hero viewport.
Product UI screenshots below the fold show a modern, clean interface — counters the "cheap = ugly" bias.
Automation workflow builder is visually demonstrated, not just described.

Findings (2)

Was → problem → fix → why

Each finding cites the live copy at audit time, names the conversion problem, proposes a specific rewrite, and explains why the rewrite works against the 12-dimension framework.

Finding #01trustHigh-impact
Was
(no recognizable customer logos in hero viewport)
Problem

For a brand most visitors haven't heard of, the absence of named customers or third-party badges (G2, Capterra ratings) in the hero is a critical trust gap. Price-sensitive buyers who find Moosend via "cheap Mailchimp alternative" searches need reassurance that cheap doesn't mean unreliable.

Fix
Add a trust bar directly below the CTA: G2 rating badge + "Trusted by 5,000+ companies including [3-4 named mid-market brands]".
Why this works

Third-party ratings (G2, Capterra) carry more weight than self-reported metrics for unknown brands. Named logos convert "never heard of it" into "others like me use it". Position directly below CTA where the trust decision happens.

Finding #02social proofMedium
Was
(testimonials exist but are text-only, below the fold)
Problem

Text-only testimonials from unnamed sources read as fabricated in 2026. Visitors have been trained to distrust anonymous quotes. The testimonials add no persuasive weight in their current form.

Fix
Replace with 2-3 video testimonials or named quotes with photo, company, and role. Format: "[Name], [Role] at [Company] — switched from Mailchimp, saved $400/mo."
Why this works

Named, photographed testimonials with specific savings numbers are 3-5x more persuasive than anonymous text quotes. The "switched from Mailchimp" framing directly addresses the comparison the visitor is already making.
