48/100
Score

Latin America's largest neobank with 100M+ customers, but the landing page reads like a product manual. Feature density overwhelms the conversion path. The page assumes familiarity rather than earning it.

See methodology →
Highest-impact issue

Nubank's 100M+ customer base is the strongest social proof signal in all of fintech -- bigger than Revolut, Monzo, and Chime combined. This number should dominate the hero, but it's treated as a footnote.

Real founders, real fixes
Small changes, but the website feels more trustworthy now. The trust-signal section they suggested adding really helps with first-time visitors.

We had good traffic but weak conversions. Landing Doctors explained the problems clearly and showed us exactly what to improve. The revised structure, stronger headlines, and CTA recommendations made the page far easier to understand.…

What this page does well

3 strengths
Purple brand identity is instantly recognizable in Brazil -- strong visual differentiation.
No-fee credit card positioning resonates deeply in a market with predatory bank fees.
App-first design matches Brazilian consumer behavior (mobile-dominant market).

Findings (3)

Was → problem → fix → why

Each finding cites the live copy at audit time, names the conversion problem, proposes a specific rewrite, and explains why the rewrite works against the 12-dimension framework.

Finding #01social proofCritical
Was
(unknown current hero -- generic fintech pattern)
Problem

100M+ customers is arguably the single most powerful proof point in consumer fintech globally. Burying this number anywhere other than the hero is a conversion crime. Brazilian consumers considering switching from Itau or Bradesco need to see that 100 million of their neighbors already did.

Fix
Hero headline: "100 million Brazilians already switched. Zero fees. Zero regret."
Why this works

Leads with the overwhelming social proof (100M), names the core benefit (zero fees), and adds an emotional anchor (zero regret). The number alone does more conversion work than any feature list.

Finding #02clarityHigh-impact
Was
(hero lists multiple products without a unifying value prop)
Problem

The page tries to simultaneously sell credit cards, savings accounts, insurance, loans, and investments. For a cold visitor, this creates decision paralysis. The page needs a single entry point, not a product catalog.

Fix
Subhead: "Start with a no-fee credit card. Stay for the savings account, investments, and insurance -- all in one app."
Why this works

Names the entry product (credit card -- Nubank's original hero product), then expands the scope. Gives the visitor one clear first action rather than five competing ones.

Finding #03page speedMedium
Was
(heavy hero animation and image carousel on mobile)
Problem

Brazilian mobile internet varies dramatically by region. Hero animations and image carousels that load smoothly in Sao Paulo may stall on 3G connections in the Northeast. For a product targeting mass-market Brazilians, LCP optimization is a conversion issue, not just a technical one.

Fix
Replace hero carousel with a static image + system font headline. Lazy-load all below-fold imagery. Target LCP under 2.5s on 3G.
Why this works

Nubank's addressable market includes users on budget Android devices with slow connections. Every 100ms of additional LCP costs conversions in this segment.
