Pipedrive

68/100
Score

A CRM built by salespeople that genuinely nails pipeline visibility. The product earns its reputation, but the page pitches features instead of articulating the one outcome every sales team pays for: closing more deals with less admin.

Highest-impact issue

Pipedrive's actual moat is that it was designed around the visual sales pipeline — the one view a rep checks fifty times a day. That "see every deal, know exactly what to do next" simplicity is what wins against bloated CRMs, but the page leads with feature categories instead of the visceral relief of a clean pipeline after migrating from a spreadsheet.

Real founders, real fixes
It didn't do much. No change in before and after test. Maybe it take more time maybe it doesn't matter. But I gave it a try anyway..

Small changes, but the website feels more trustworthy now. The trust-signal section they suggested adding really helps with first-time visitors.

What this page does well

3 strengths
Visual deal pipeline is the clearest in the CRM category — genuinely intuitive drag-and-drop.
Activity-based selling methodology baked into the UX keeps reps focused on next steps.
Transparent per-seat pricing with no hidden platform fees builds trust at evaluation time.

Findings (3)

Was → problem → fix → why

Each finding cites the live copy at audit time, names the conversion problem, proposes a specific rewrite, and explains why the rewrite works against the 12-dimension framework.

Finding #01value propHigh-impact
Was
(CRM feature list hero — "sales CRM and pipeline management" category label)
Problem

Leading with the category label ("sales CRM and pipeline management") puts Pipedrive in a feature-comparison fight against Salesforce and HubSpot — platforms with ten times the marketing budget. Category labels commoditize; outcomes differentiate.

Fix
See every deal. Know the next step. Close without the admin overhead that kills your selling hours.
Why this works

Names the three things a salesperson actually cares about (visibility, clarity, time saved) rather than the software category, which is meaningful only to the buyer writing the purchase order.

Finding #02proofHigh-impact
Was
(customer count and review-site badges without revenue-impact data)
Problem

Showing "100,000+ companies" and G2 badges proves adoption but not results. A sales leader evaluating CRMs wants to know: "will my team close more?" Adoption metrics don't answer that.

Fix
Add an outcome proof line: "Teams switching to Pipedrive close 28% more deals in their first quarter — based on anonymized pipeline data across 10,000+ accounts."
Why this works

Revenue-impact data directly answers the buyer's real question and gives the champion internal ammunition to justify the purchase to their VP.

Finding #03objectionsMedium
Was
(migration path from Salesforce/HubSpot not visible above the fold)
Problem

Most Pipedrive evaluators are comparing it against or migrating from a larger CRM. Ignoring the switching-cost concern above the fold lets the visitor assume migration is painful — the default assumption with any CRM change.

Fix
Add a migration CTA: "Switching from Salesforce or HubSpot? Import your pipeline in 15 minutes — we handle the mapping."
Why this works

Naming the competitor and quantifying the migration effort (15 minutes) pre-empts the biggest objection and captures high-intent comparison traffic on your page, not theirs.
