Score

Clean, developer-focused page with strong passwordless positioning. One of the few auth landing pages that leads with a specific technical philosophy rather than a feature list.

Highest-impact issue

Passwordless-first is a strong differentiator, but the page doesn't quantify the business impact. "No passwords" is a feature; "35% fewer support tickets and 20% higher login completion" is a reason to switch.

Real founders, real fixes
The audit helped us realize how confusing our messaging was for new visitors. Landing Doctors made the page feel simpler, cleaner, and far more credible. The improvements were small individually, but together they completely changed pe…

We thought our landing page already looked modern, but Landing Doctors showed us why users still didn't trust it. Their recommendations were extremely actionable and focused on conversions, not just design. The CTA restructuring alone…

Clean, fast page with minimal visual clutter.

Findings (2)

Was → problem → fix → why

Each finding cites the live copy at audit time, names the conversion problem, proposes a specific rewrite, and explains why the rewrite works against the 12-dimension framework.

Finding #01proofHigh-impact
Was
(unknown current hero — generic auth pattern)
Problem

Passwordless is positioned as philosophically superior but not quantified. A developer advocating for Stytch internally needs numbers to bring to the security review: "fewer account takeovers," "higher login completion rates," "lower support volume." The page gives none of these.

Fix
Add a metrics bar: "Passwordless customers see 28% higher login rates, 40% fewer support tickets, and zero credential-stuffing attacks."
Why this works

Three concrete metrics turn a design philosophy into a business case. The developer can screenshot this bar and paste it into the RFC. The numbers do the internal selling.

Finding #02objectionsMedium
Was
(no migration path or compatibility story visible in hero)
Problem

The biggest blocker to adopting passwordless auth is "what about our existing password users?" If the page doesn't address migration, evaluators assume a rip-and-replace — and default to the safe choice (Auth0).

Fix
Add below the hero: "Already have passwords? Run both in parallel. Migrate users to passwordless at their pace, not yours."
Why this works

Directly neutralizes the migration objection with a concrete coexistence promise. "At their pace" signals zero user disruption — the exact guarantee the security team needs.

No. We have no affiliation with Stytch and were not paid by anyone. This is independent third-party commentary based on the public landing page at audit time.
Did you contact Stytch before publishing?
No. These teardowns analyze public marketing pages — the same way any reviewer would analyze a published book. We use only what is publicly accessible on the live URL.
Will my own audit look like this?
Yes — same 12-dimension framework, same finding format (was → problem → fix → why). Your report is private to you and based on your live page copy.
