70/100
Score

Best-in-class technical product, hero copy has drifted from "developer-clear" toward generic AI category claims. The shift loses the specificity that won Vercel its initial audience.

Highest-impact issue

"Build and deploy on the AI Cloud" replaces specific developer verbs with a category claim every cloud provider now makes. The hero no longer differentiates from AWS Bedrock, Cloudflare Workers AI, or the next 12 entrants.

Real founders, real fixes
The audit was useful overall and gave us a few good ideas for improving clarity on the homepage. Some suggestions felt a bit generic, but the CTA and headline recommendations definitely helped.

Landing Doctors nos ayudó a entender por qué la página se veía bonita pero no convertía bien. Cambiamos la estructura, el mensaje principal y varios bloques importantes. Todo se siente mucho más claro y profesional ahora.

What this page does well

4 strengths
Strong logo wall: Sonos, Under Armour, Loom — enterprise-tier brand validation.
Multiple CTAs are scoped (Start Deploying, Get a Demo) — clear paths for both buyer types.
Pricing is reachable from the hero without scrolling.
Documentation depth visible from nav — reduces objection that this is a black-box hosted service.

Findings (2)

Was → problem → fix → why

Each finding cites the live copy at audit time, names the conversion problem, proposes a specific rewrite, and explains why the rewrite works against the 12-dimension framework.

Finding #01clarityHigh-impact
Was
Build and deploy on the AI Cloud.
Problem

"AI Cloud" is a category claim, not an outcome. Buyers comparing infrastructure providers in 2026 see this on every vendor's page. Vercel's historical hero ("Develop. Preview. Ship.") was specific to the developer workflow — concrete verbs, concrete stages. The current line gives that up.

Fix
Deploy production-ready Next.js apps in seconds — with the AI features your competitors don't have yet.
Why this works

Restores Vercel's specific audience (Next.js teams), names the speed (seconds), and uses AI as a *capability* (features competitors don't have) rather than a category badge. Differentiated, not commodity.

Finding #02value propMedium
Was
Build and deploy the best web experiences with the AI Cloud (page title)
Problem

"Best web experiences" is unmeasurable. "AI Cloud" is a vendor category. The page-title impression in search results — where 90% of buyers first see Vercel — reads as generic.

Fix
Vercel: Production-ready Next.js hosting with native AI features
Why this works

Names the framework specifically (Next.js — Vercel's home turf), names the readiness state buyers care about (production), and treats AI as a feature not a marketing label.
