Score

Excellent positioning hero ("Make your website a growth engine") and clean product demonstration. Edge cases on mid-market vs enterprise positioning could be tighter.

Highest-impact issue

"Make your website a growth engine" is strong but generic — every CMS makes that claim. Webflow's real edge is design-control + visual development without code, which the H1 doesn't name.

Real founders, real fixes
We had good traffic but weak conversions. Landing Doctors explained the problems clearly and showed us exactly what to improve. The revised structure, stronger headlines, and CTA recommendations made the page far easier to understand.…

What this page does well

4 strengths
Live demo above the fold — you can drag elements in the browser without signing up.
Designer/developer/marketer audience selectors below hero — instant role-based routing.
Customer logos cluster around design-led brands (Dropbox, Discord, Vice) — signals the niche.
Pricing transparency (Site / Workspace / Ecommerce tiers) with no hidden enterprise gate.

Findings (3)

Was → problem → fix → why

Each finding cites the live copy at audit time, names the conversion problem, proposes a specific rewrite, and explains why the rewrite works against the 12-dimension framework.

Finding #01clarityMedium
Was
Make your website a growth engine.
Problem

A category line. WordPress, Webflow, Framer, Wix all promise growth. The H1 doesn't name the design-control + no-code differentiator that wins Webflow its design-heavy customer base.

Fix
"Design any website you can imagine — visually, with no code. Ship it on a CMS your marketing team can edit."
Why this works

Names the differentiator (visual design, no code) and the operational benefit (marketing team can edit). Avoids "growth engine" cliché while staying true to Webflow's actual sell.

Finding #02value propMedium
Was
(no explicit WordPress migration narrative on the hero)
Problem

A huge slice of Webflow's acquisition is "we're leaving WordPress because of [security/plugins/devs]". The hero doesn't address this audience even though it's a major buying motion.

Fix
Add a hero proof: "Switching from WordPress? We migrate your site for free."
Why this works

Names the dominant defection source (WordPress) and removes the biggest switching friction (migration effort) in one line. Converts a passive consideration into an active evaluation.

Finding #03social proofMedium
Was
(logos visible but no aggregate site count or designer count)
Problem

Webflow powers ~3M+ sites and has 1M+ active designers. The page shows neither stat. Scale signal would convert visitors evaluating "is this real software or a side-project tool".

Fix
Hero strip: "3M+ websites built · 1M+ designers · #1 visual development platform on G2."
Why this works

Three numbers covering total scale, community size, and peer-validated category leadership. Each closes a different objection (real product / real community / real winner).

Will my own audit look like this?
Yes — same 12-dimension framework, same finding format (was → problem → fix → why). Your report is private to you and based on your live page copy.
