48/100
Score

Russia's highest-revenue marketplace wins on price and pickup-point density but delivers a web experience that is functionally a product database — no hero, no value proposition, no trust messaging, just an infinite scroll of tiles.

See methodology →
Highest-impact issue

Wildberries' free-delivery-included pricing and 30,000+ pickup points are genuine structural advantages. Neither appears anywhere on the homepage. The entire first viewport is a category menu and product grid with no platform-level messaging — relying entirely on brand familiarity and price to convert.

Real founders, real fixes
We improved a few headlines and reorganized sections. The page feels more focused now and visitors actually read past the hero section.

Useful feedback overall. We changed a few sections and bounce rate improved slightly. Not earth-shattering but worth the price for the structured perspective.

What this page does well

3 strengths
Delivery cost included in product price eliminates the checkout surprise that causes cart abandonment across competitors.
Massive pickup-point network with try-before-you-pay at many locations reduces return anxiety for apparel buyers.
Price competitiveness driven by marketplace-fee pressure on sellers keeps listed prices consistently low.

Findings (3)

Was → problem → fix → why

Each finding cites the live copy at audit time, names the conversion problem, proposes a specific rewrite, and explains why the rewrite works against the 12-dimension framework.

Finding #01clarityCritical
Was
(no hero, no headline, no value proposition — homepage opens directly into product grid)
Problem

The homepage has zero messaging. No headline, no tagline, no explanation of what makes Wildberries different. For the millions of Russian shoppers who already use the platform this is fine — for any new visitor from advertising or referral, the page communicates nothing except "here are products."

Fix
Add a single-line hero: "Besplatnaya dostavka. Primerka pered pokupkoy. 30 000+ punktov vydachi."
Why this works

Three concrete benefits in one line — free delivery, try-before-you-pay, pickup-point density — give new visitors the structural reasons to choose Wildberries. Existing users ignore it; new users need it.

Finding #02trustHigh-impact
Was
(no buyer-protection or return-policy messaging visible on homepage)
Problem

Wildberries allows try-on at pickup points and free returns — policies that directly address the apparel-fit anxiety that is the top reason shoppers avoid buying clothing online. These policies are discoverable only in the help center, invisible to the first-time visitor.

Fix
Pin a trust bar: "Primerka v punkte vydachi. Besplatnyy vozvrat 14 dney. Oplata pri poluchenii."
Why this works

Surfacing try-on and free returns in the first viewport converts apparel browsers into buyers. These policies exist to reduce purchase anxiety — but only if the anxious visitor sees them before deciding to leave.

Finding #03social proofMedium
Was
(no aggregate platform metrics — order volume, seller count, or buyer ratings visible)
Problem

Wildberries processes tens of millions of orders monthly but communicates none of that scale on the homepage. New visitors from international markets or younger demographics have no metric to gauge platform reliability.

Fix
Add: "50M+ zakazov v mesyats. 500 000+ prodavtsov. Otsenit 4.7/5 pokupatelyami."
Why this works

Scale metrics convert uncertain visitors by answering "do other people trust this?" Order volume and buyer ratings are the most compressed trust signals for a marketplace without brand-name recognition outside its home market.
